So today I have a relaxed OotD for you guys featuring some recent newness in my wardrobe. As I just got rid of 50 (!) pieces I wasn’t wearing anymore I figured my wardrobe could use a little update. So here we go. I’m incredibly excited to show you guys my new platform sneakers from Vagabond. Vagabond is by far my favorite shoe brand as their designs always seem like they were made for me. Like someone was spying on me on Facebook or something and then reported my deepest shoe desires to them. Oh wait, maybe that’s exactly what’s happening. Fine with me. ๐Ÿ˜€

I’ve never been a sneakers person. I’ve always loved black platforms. So of course Vagabond made black platform sneakers. I feel like these are the perfect sporty comfy shoes for someone who actually doesn’t wear sporty shoes. Am I making sense? ๐Ÿ˜€ As you can see in the photo the tip is somewhat… pointing upwards. To me it feels like this actually makes walking easier and faster. As if the shoes were doing half the work for you. I’m completely stunned. I can already see myself getting another pair as, of course, they come in a myriad different shapes and color combos…ย  Got a weird feeling someone might invest her next paycheck into platform sneakers…

I paired them with one of my fav accessories: fishnet tights. Loving the fact that they’re trending at the moment – they look so badass and are actually really flattering. The strong visual pattern makes uneven parts of the skin disappear. Fishnets just have to be paired with socks, right? It’s all about taking the sexiness out and playing up the coolness so fishnets + socks + sneakers are a perfect match!

ย As I mentioned in my Not Homeless Outfit Challenge I picked up a few pieces at Zara recently. This long blouse was one of them. I instantly loved the length as it can be worn with or without pants underneath. It goes perfectly with leggings as well as jeans or tights and it can be worn open or buttoned up. Hence it scores high on the versatility scale! Also, I figured it couldn’t hurt to have at least A FEW items that aren’t completly torn and distressed so I don’t have to rotate the same two sweaters for work…

As for jewelry I picked my half moon tattoo choker and some of my pieces from The rogue + The wolf. You may have seen them on my blog before and they are simply amazing because they look awesome AND are 3D printed. Those of you who follow me on Instagram probably read that I co-authored a scientific paper on 3D printing recently and ever since I’m even more obsessed with 3D printed jewelry. ๐Ÿ˜€ This scythe ring might actually be my next acquisition…

Now that the weather is getting a little warmer and sunnier I added my beloved cat eye sunglasses from WearMe Pro. I’m happy sunglasses season is starting again as I absolutely love the look! What’s really funny about these sunglasses (careful though, what has been seen can never be unseen) is that the wired frame seems to paint me black cartoon-like eyebrows. So it somewhat looks like I’m a grumpy cartoon character even when I’m smiling ๐Ÿ˜€

The backpack is my super trusty all day every day companion from Zaful. Everything I need such as cash, phone, lipstick, hair brush etc. will always be in this backpack so by grabbing it and leaving the house I can be sure not to forget anything.

Hope you guys liked enjoyed this outfit of the day! Be sure to follow me on Bloglovin’ and my social media channels so you don’t miss any posts!
