Ah guys, I’m glad I shot this look for you before the flu got me. So in this very moment I’m curled up on my parents’ couch wih a cup of tea and a really bad cough. So let’s take a little trip down memory lane to a time when I still looked super fab (aka last weekend).
Are you ready? Let’s start with the newness!
Faux leather platform boots
These awesome booties (read: beauties) are the latest addition to my platform collection. What’s pretty surprising though is that they are my very first brown platform boots. They’re from Schuhtempel24 who have a massive range of many different and affordable styles. I got some of my favorite pairs of shoes there such as these black platform chelsea boots. It’s always a good idea to check out their Facebook page for news, deals and current coupons. The tricolor platform instantly caught my attention as it gives the shoes a little extra without making them look too over the top. The black and brown color combo is one of my all-time faves and these boots match that color scheme perfectly. It also makes them versatile as they go with outfits within the black and the brown color palette. Plus they are super comfy which is always a must for me when it comes to everyday shoes.
This skirt already made an appearance in this outfit from August. It took me quite a while to get my hands on it and unfortunately it sold out a long time ago 🙁 I simply can’t get enough of its beautiful paisley pattern. Every time I wear it I ask myself why I don’t have more paisley print skirts. It was made to be worn with this vintage belt and overknee socks. As obsessed as I am with this combo I might at some point come up with more options for styling this skirt, let’s see 🙂
Blouse and knit cardigan
This blouse is such a dinosaur amongst my clothes. I don’t even remember when I got it – it was simply… always there. It traveled to New Zealand and all the way back with me and it’s such a comfy go-to option for pretty much every casual outfit. Also, I love the soft and light fabric – I won’t get rid of it any time soon!
Not sure if I ever told you the story of this long knit cardigan. I went to a second hand market and spotted this piece pretty early on. I decided to have a look around first and grab it on my way back. Now of course on my way back it was gone and I was frustrated. Luckily I found this exact one on another seller’s table and got it right away. It has since earned its spot amongst my favorite autumn / winter items.
Hope you guys enjoyed today’s outfit post! From next week I’m actually done with my exams and you guys know what that means, right? Yeees – blog posts, so many blog posts! xoxo
